Aries! The first sign of the Zodiac Wheel. The ram is ruled by the planet Mars. The energies of Mars are hyper masculine, dualistically speaking. Aggressive, highly motivated, outgoing, active…. These are just some of the traits we would use to describe Aries.

Like the Tarot, in that we observe ourselves evolve through the archetypes in the major arcana and through the different suits, we can also see us in our development through the zodiac and what lessons we are here to learn in this life through our incarnation in our personal signs.

Aries rules the head. The head being the top part of the body. What do we associate with this?

Well, the head being the ‘first’ part of the body, we might associate this with self-centeredness. Being ‘hard-headed’ comes to mind.
